Jesus says (Luke 11:28), “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” As a church, we seek to hear and study the Word of God. We do so, not just to gain information, but inspiration for life. We seek to know the Word of God that we may follow and obey it, that we may better love God and better love and serve others. Resurrection Lutheran Church is a center for studying God’s word, and offers many opportunities for adults to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).

Sundays

9:15 AM: Adult Bible Study - Enough: Finding Meaning in a Meaningless World,
- led by Pastor Sessa
10 AM: Children's Sunday School in the Education Building; classes break for the summer from mid-June to September.

Classes throughout the week

Mondays at 6 PM: Women's Bible Study, currently studying the Genesis. Led by Marcia Nelson in the Church Narthex.

Wednesdays in June at 6 PM: Soul Food Bible studies and potluck! Bring a friend and a side/dessert!
Wednesdays at 5:30 PM: Youth Group, for Middle/Highschoolers; bible lessons with games and meal provided. Summer schedule varies; inquire for details.
Last Thursday of every month: Flourish, all women of the church are invited for food and fellowship! Time and locations vary; inquire for details.
1st , 3rd & 5th Fridays at 8 AM: Men's Bible Study, current focus on Aging Gracefully, led by Pastor Nelson.
2nd Saturdays at 9 AM: Men's Breakfast, all men of the church (their sons, grandsons, and friends) are invited for food and fellowship!
