RLC Cairo Privacy Policy

Resurrection Lutheran Church respects your privacy. This policy explains how the Resurrection Church mobile app, RLC Cairo, handles information.

Information the app handles

The app does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, microphone, or payment information. It does not include advertising or cross-app tracking.

To remain useful when a connection is interrupted, the app stores a small cache of public church announcements, events, and media links on your device. This cache contains no member or visitor data and can be removed by deleting the app.

External services

Some clearly labeled actions open services outside the app:

• Planning Center / Church Center for event registrations, forms, groups, and giving
• YouTube's embedded player for sermons and livestreams; YouTube may process device, network, app identity, and integrity information when a player screen loads
• Your phone, email, browser, or maps app when you choose to contact or visit the church

Information you choose to provide to those services is governed by their respective privacy policies. The Resurrection Church app does not receive payment-card details entered in Planning Center.

When you choose Share event or Share sermon, the app passes the public title, date, location, and link to your phone's standard share sheet. Resurrection does not receive or store your share choices.

Children

The app provides public church information and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app's features change. The current version is available inside the app and will be posted on the Resurrection Lutheran Church website with its effective date.
